Meet Maggie

I love music. I’ve been listening my whole life; singing it, playing it, raising my kids on it.

Here in Whitefish the sound rocks the bars, spills out onto the streets, and refreshes the soul. It’s on a stage, in a room, on the bench, or swinging on a porch. It seems to be everywhere, and I want to know where and when and who — don’t you?

This valley is full of some of the most talented musicians in the country. From old Montana honky tonk to intricate jazz, originals and covers, songwriters with something to say, pickers and players who’ve spent decades honing their sound, voices that can hush a whole room. It’s all right here, playing the breweries and the back rooms, the listening rooms and the lodges, in the venues that keep music alive in this town.

The music is here. Somebody just needed to connect the dots. So I flipped on the spotlight.
